Watching the ball drop at Times Square last night surrounded by family and friends, I got thinking about the highlights from the past year and how 2015 was one of the most influential years of my life. Studying abroad in London for four months, making some amazing new friends, starting new organizations at school as well as on the web and learning from new work experiences, I’ve grown so much in such a short time. One of my favorite quotes comes from James Cash Penney and goes as follows: “Growth is never by mere chance; it is the result of forces working together.” 2015 is proof of this belief. Had it not been for all of the unique experiences this year brought on (the good and the bad), I would not have grown to be the person I am today. For that, I am forever grateful.

I’ve got big plans for 2016.

  1. Become more involved in startup organizations and culture
  2. Volunteer more (particularly in designing websites for non-profits)
  3. Learn to develop on both Android & IOS
  4. Make a full-length video game <– Always been a dream to say I’ve done this!

Whatever else 2016 brings on, I welcome with open arms! Though 2015 has come to a close, it will not be forgotten. Happy New Year and here’s to an amazing 366 (woohoo for leap year!) days in 2016!
